StoryTeller
Pumpkins are part of a big family, the squash family. Soil, water and lots of sunshine make them grow great big. They grow from a small seed planted in the soil early in summer, a plant sprouts from the ground. About four weeks later flowers with small pumpkins appear on the vine and are pollinated by bees, ants and hummingbirds. The pumpkins grow bigger, bigger and bigger until it is time to pick them in the fall.
Craft Time
